Sweet Stuff.
Hey, sorry about the lack of updates. It means I’m either doing too little or too much. Right now I’m listening to Electric Wizard trying to persuade myself what I’m about to write could possibly be interesting to anyone.
Billy and Nathan and Dan came down from Seattle to hang and film with Cory, so I got to ride with them a little. I’m not going to post many photos. What Cory has will far eclipse anything I have.
Nathan 3’s over a loading dock.
Billy getting “high” on this wall ride.
I did something I haven’t done in a very long time. Rode trails. It was the most fun I’ve had on a bike since the last time I said that. Which might have been my XC ride with Paul? Linking a bunch of jumps together is where it’s at. I wonder if a scooter or skateboard could be ridden on a nice set of trails?
Hard to see it in the photo, but the take off and landing is kinda steep here. Fortunately a couple weeks ago a well intentioned local free-rider tipped me off about how to land a bike properly into a transition: back wheel first! I’ll be advancing to that stage once I get a bit more comfortable. Unsolicited expert advice is always the best.
Quick preview of the new Howie from Cory. Doesn’t look much different, but where do you go when you’ve got a bike that looks like the Howie? Anyway, there are actually a lot changes to this bike. Enough to get the weight down to 4.8 lbs with our Deep Coat Finish. Full details this week.
Hey, this was pretty funny. Our Tonic Friend in Japan, Teisuke, sent this over. Turns out someone really digs our graphics. “Rage69″ sounds like a Bro-Metal band. Anyway we ripped this idea off from Plymouth, so what goes around comes around.

Skateboarding on trails: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNhTwNuNoHk
If I ever saw somebody skating my jumps I’d break their board over their head
